vienna

Sorry that the first pic is turned around, i'm not very comp savy. But hey at least i was in the pic, as per my instructions before i left. When pat and i went to gyor, we deceided to be an hour and a half from Vienna and not go would just be wrong, so we caught a train and popped in for the day. So here are some of the pics from out little day trip.

So what did we do? after riding in the train with compartments, we decided to go take our handy maps and go on a little walk about we when to St. Stephen's Cathedral, the opera house and then to Sissy's apartment. We only when inside the cathedral.

Pat and I had the opportunity to visit Larry and Melinda Ewing in Gyor. Gyor is in the western part of the country. The Ewings were apart of a team that began a work with university students a couple of years ago, and have recently come back to Hungary to pick up where they left off, since the ministry they help to begin was still active.

Every Tuesday night the Ewings hold a bible study at their home, which you can see is quite lovely, but more than that, it is a place to come and learn more about a relationship with Christ. The Ewings are two of the most giving hospitable, loving people that I have been in contact with in a while. They are a precious gift to anyone who knows them, and a sweet aroma of Christ to all who are around them. What a blessing it was for me to get to meet them and learn from them durning my time in Gyor.
