Halloween

Well I would love to tell ya'll that I had some kind of fun outfit for Halloween and looked like a complete fool, but sadly that is not the case. In fact, throughout the entire day I only saw one guy with a skeleton shirt on. I am told, however, that usually Halloween night people gather in the cemetery to either remember their loves ones who have died, or light candles for them as a way of reducing their time in purgatory. Indulgences are also sold during this time. It was however raining and did not go to the cemetery. But please remember those whose hope lays within a tradition, and not on the one who hold eternity in His hands.

Unfortunately Halloween is making big inroads in most of western Europe -- surprised it is not in Hungary powered by all the commercialism. It is seen as a time for rowdys to make trouble and much damage is done.
